Four Garden Wagons are tucked away in the walled Kitchen Garden with views out across the gardens and fields. Full of rustic reclaimed wood and texture, cosy furnishings and each with its own log burner and sofa to snuggle up on, these Wagons have king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms with monsoon showers, freestanding baths and bags of space for two. They also have their own private terraces and private outdoor showers for alfresco showering.
We finally got to stay at a Pig, and chose the one on the South Downs. We had a garden wagon, which was so special, comfortable, and peaceful. The setting, in the kitchen garden, brought us right into the atmosphere of the Pig and the local food. It had everything we needed, and despite a chilly few days in September we even managed the outdoor shower to get us going in the mornings (and used the indoor shower and bath in the evenings).
