Making good use of the available space is key. We are very proud of this design, and we still get a thrill from that moment in the workshop when the hut gets connected up to the services for the final check.
Hot running water, oak joinery, a full kitchen worthy of a stylish magazine feature, carefully thought out lighting, a super comfy bed. We use Italian Orthosoft mattresses that are easy to make up on changeover day, and there is just the right amount of useful storage. Your guests, be they family staying for the weekend or paying guests who expect the best, will all walk in and say ‘Wow’.

We know how important it is for you to get a shepherd’s hut holiday business up and running successfully. It may, at first, be quite daunting. We want to help you every step of the way, and the Lodge design shown here is a great solution. Plankbridge Lodges can be found in so many locations, and are in use domestically and commercially as holiday lets, hotel rooms and full living accommodation. They arrive with an easy connection to water, waste and electrics – of course you’ve got some ground works to do in advance but nothing too onerous and we will send you ground plans to help with that. The shepherd’s hut can be configured for mains electrics or off-grid 12 volt solar.
