Sit up on the comfy double bed or enjoy a cup of coffee on the steps and take in views across the fields or watch the sunset. Delight in the attention of Kitty, the goat, Pepe, the alpaca, Vic and Bob, pygmy goats, Mary and Primrose and other Hebridean sheep. A great glamping experience in a rural setting just outside the South Downs National Park. Plenty of walks from the doorstop including places to dine out. Brighton & the sea a 20 minute scenic drive over Devil’s Dyke on the Downs. Elsie’s is a special place – a lovely example of a Plankbridge Snug hut.

Had 3 nights of heaven at Elsie’s hut, watching the sunset, walks and had a perfect cycle day. Everything was immaculate and we had lovely privacy which was exactly what we needed at the end of a busy week..except for the animals of course who kept us amused while we sat with our cosy campfire. Will definitely be back for more of the same soon I hope!

It was an amazing experience, the standard of accommodation was fantastic, no detail was left to chance, comfy, clean and we had everything we needed for a perfect glamping experience! It was a beautiful escape to the country.
