It's a good idea to 'phone before visiting but someone is usually there.  Weekend visits can be arranged.

From the Puddletown exit (Northbrook exit) on the A35 take the B3142 from Puddletown towards Piddlehinton. Turn right onto the B3143 into the village of Piddlehinton.  Near the Church is a crossroads, with a pump and memorial on the grass island in the road.  Opposite the memorial go up a lane called London Row and at the top of the hill take the left turn to Carters Barn Farm.  The workshop is in the second barn.
